What our customers are
saying us?

A boat trip on Lake Lucerne was high on our list, so we headed to the quayside (opposite the station entrance). I asked for the cheapest option, which was a 2 hour trip on the lunchtime boat- presumably because visitors spend a lot of extra cash on the lunchtime options, including fine dining in an exclusive area. We took a picnic and sat outside at the front of the boat with amazing views and fresh air..fantastic!!

Some of the buildings are very centuries old but there are a lot of new ones going up too. Lots of little streets to meander through as well. Cafes and restaurants, bakeries and souvenir shops as well. Our second day was clear blue skies and a fantastic view of the Matterhorn. Great place for avid skiers too.

First of all, its expensive so save up. Secondly, its beautiful. The Gornergrat railway is expensive but a must do to get a better view of the Matterhorn which is spectacular. Our budget hotel was up some stairs and we happened to be on the top (4th) floor. No lifts. Beware of hitting heads if you are tall. Our room was no frills but we found the bed too hard..

Lake Lucerne is a stunning gem in the heart of Switzerland, surrounded by dramatic alpine peaks and charming lakeside villages. The turquoise water reflect the snow capped mountains, creating postcard perfect views at every turn. The cruise offers panoramic views of Mount Pilatus, Mount Rigi and quaint towns like Vitznau and Weggis. The cruise pier is located conveniently in front of main railway station in Lucerne.
